Object Story by Rosey Zaman:
"My mother used the batta to grind spice mixes and paste for cooking. These stone grinders are still used in South Asia today. She brought this back from Bangladesh as a reminder of home and would use it here for special occasions. When she would use it, I would also have a go!"
